Dr. FredEllie, you have a very interesting background that would be valuable for you to share with our midlife listeners. What led you from getting your MBA, working in the banking and consulting world and becoming a helping professional?
Dr. FredYou have a partner in life, four children living at home with you and a business you run yourself. How do you manage this kind of lifestyle?
Dr. FredSome of your clients are midlifers. What are the most common issues you assist them with that are particular to this age group?
Dr. FredYou say that you provide expert coaching and therapeutic guidance for high-performing individuals who find themselves facing a setback. What do you mean by high-performing individuals? And why this group?
Dr. FredAs a business coach myself, I find it unusual to combine therapy and coaching as an offer. My point of view is that therapy, for the most part is past-based, focusing on emotional issues and getting the client to a point of functioning, whereas coaching is future-based, doesn't deal with emotional problems and takes the client from being functional to higher levels of performance. How do you integrate these two approaches into your practice?
Dr. FredYou refer to yourself as "The Mindset Mentor." What do you mean by this?
Dr. FredThe program that you've developed is called "The Setback to Success System." Would you briefly outline how this works and how does it benefit midlifers dealing with issues like experiencing transition, being stuck and facing a setback?
Dr. Fred What projects are you currently working on? How can our listeners find out more about your work?
